Today we look at some Terraria Hidden Items: Golden & Crystal Chests! These items are secret unobtainable Items that were added in the 1.3.1 Update but unobtainable as they are strangely only half finished.
These chests are labelled as WIP (work in progress) in the file viewer and have strange properties. Their inventory sprites have nothing to do with the item and they do not function if clicked on. They also make your player freeze in place when hovering over them! Neat!
These items are perhaps discontinued items. They are trapped chests but do not have a normal chest counterpart; perhaps the developers do not want an additional gold chest and crystal chest in the game!
