Why Rosemary Winters May Become The Most Powerful and Unique Character In Resident Evil
Upon further thought into the ending for Resident Evil Village, I eventually arrived to the conclusion that the game actually sets up the 9th mainline entry in a very different way that's most unexpected. While Ethan's storyline is finished, the Winters timeline is far from over. Rosemary has traits of multiple characters and hidden talents that Capcom has yet to reveal. I doubt Rosemary will be fleshed out more in whatever DLC Capcom comes up with, therefore, it won't be until Resident Evil 9 until we see the true potential of this character.
Obviously there's a few assumptions in the video on my behalf but what's stated here makes sense based on the information that RE Village presents to the player in the endgame.
