In this edition of the "Controversial Thought" column, I'll express my opinion on the transport reform in Tver as an out-of-towner. This means I won't comment on each route, schedule, etc., but rather on the reform in general. Recently, Tver authorities have been saying that similar measures could be implemented in other cities, following their reform model. However, overall, they're right. The foundation of Tver's transport reform—the transition to a regulated fare—is a very useful measure, one that Ryazan, too, truly needs. But at the same time, we must also pay attention to the problems that have arisen in Tver.
