In this web development tutorial I introduce you to my open source homepage template, which you can use to build your own homepages very quickly. This template system even includes a wordpress template, which makes it easy to combine a normal html based website with a wordpress blog where both will have the same look and feel to them.
The I also show you how to use JavaScript and jQuery to extend the functionality of the template. We will develop a sticky navbar which will follow the page when the user scrolls down. This increases the usability and hopefully also reduces the drop off rate.
