Terminal and Non Terminal Functional Group of Organic compounds:
In terminal functional group, the three carbon valency are already satisfied, that's why, any functional group can be present at terminals end.
In non-terminal functional group, only two valencies are satisfied, that's why, any functional group is not present at the end of the chain and not at the terminal end.
