Do not submit your original documents while joining a company - watch this to know why!
It is absolutely illegal for a company to keep original documents of any employee, especially as surety to make him work as a “bonded labour”. The employers can ask for original documents just to verify them with the photocopies and ensure that the original documents are returned at the earliest.
If people ask for originals, give them copies and tell them the originals are kept in a locked safe at the bank or your lawyer's office for safekeeping as they are your private and personal property. People/companies etc can maybe ask to VIEW the original document but that is where it should end.
