I kind of promised you back in ancient times: all unfinished playthroughs go to heaven. A heaven of ideas that can be reworked. Byzantium was reworked because I wanted to show you its independent path, separate from the main one, albeit a little broken, but enjoyable. The result is a kind of "Not Quite a Guide" for the Eastern Roman Empire, which you might enjoy. Personally, I really enjoyed the Catholic path from the new DLC, and it turned out even better this way. It's also wonderful for roleplaying. I'd be glad if you like this almost-guide content, because for some, it will truly be a guide for the game – many still don't know about this path, which is surprising.
