War Thunder First 10: Challenger DS
The Challenger DS is the newest British premium 9.7 Battle Rating tank added in the update 'Danger Zone'. The DS is for "DESERT STORM", which in the UK was called "Operation GRANBY".
So this is maybe a Challenger 1 Mk.2, not Mk.3, I guess? I don't know them specifically well enough to tell the difference. Anyways, this is the UK's entry into the "let's-kill-the-win-rates-by-allowing-people-to-buy-their-way-into-high-BRs" sweepstakes, and while it's certainly nice to skip the stock grind for a Challenger 1, it's not all roses (get it? that's a war of the roses joke or something) though the multiplier for RP will certainly help you in your top-tier British tank grind... particularly since there are now FOUR Challenger 2 models, and they are pretty good. The Challenger 1s are also fine, but their stock grind sucks.
Therefore, since you can skip the stock grind here, it IS a useful tank to advance your UK tank grind. Hopefully you already have at least an 8.7 British lineup to match with this, and that'll be the real sweet spot for this tank.
