Audacity's automatic BPM/Tempo detection is actually useful!
For years this feature has been bugging me. Today it pleasantly surprised me.
I'm talking about Music Import Audacity detected this file to be 119.49 bpm. Would you like to enable music view and set the project tempo to 119.49? Don't ask me again Yes No
