On the night of May 20, the occupied city of Snizhne was attacked by Ukrainian Armed Forces drones. According to the Telegram channel Exilenova+, either warehouses or personnel accommodation centers were targeted. The channel later reported that 12 Russian servicemen were killed and 15 wounded in the "very massive attack." Analysts from the Dnipro Osint project discovered that a Russian army deployment site at the abandoned Udarnik mine was hit.
In the morning report, the General Staff reported that the Defense Forces struck "enemy manpower concentrations" near Novoukrainka in the Zaporizhzhia region and in Myrne, as well as the city of Donetsk in the Donetsk region. "The enemy is carrying out strikes at operational depths of more than 150 kilometers from the combat zone," stated one Russian Z-war correspondent, posting a video of the aftermath of drone strikes at the Veselo-Voznesenka border crossing, on the internationally recognized border between Russia and Ukraine. Evidence is circulating online of Ukrainian drones patrolling the ring road around occupied Donetsk and also striking trucks on the highway through southern Ukraine to Crimea.
