A well-defined neckline at the right height can better define your jawline and give your style a more symmetrical and clean look.

So, whether you have a beard that's long, short, or unshaven, a well-defined neckline from an early age is important.

The first point you should consider is just above your Adam's apple. You can even consider it up to a finger's width above.

The second point is just below your ear, right where your jaw ends.

Draw an imaginary line between these two points, and that's your neckline. Any hair below this line can be safely shaved.

Another technique for drawing the line is to follow the curve of your ear to the point above your Adam's apple.

It's a good idea to have a side mirror to see from a different angle, but it still takes some practice.

For your sideburns, draw a straight line down close to your ear.

This way, you'll remove any hair that might grow toward the back of your neck.

You can round the tip of your jawline to give your beard a more natural, flowing look.

And for your cheekbones, the tip is to draw a line parallel to the lateral line of your jaw.

You can use a comb as a ruler. Place one end at the beginning of your mustache and the other at the upper corner of your ear.

Any hair above this line can be safely shaved.
