Institute - Ragdoll Dance LP (2023)
This band truly does not let you kno their next move hahaha, I mean I think they've played a couple times the past few years but Institute is back...... with a new record out today on Roachleg and La Vida, very nice surprise as always
I thought the previous one caught me off guard but this time I rubbed my eyes lol. Anyway yeah this thing sounds great, compared to their previous work things have changed quite a little bit! You might notice this one doesn't sound as dark as usual, the singing is more lighthearted and guitar is the star of the show this time. Maybe the bright blue art represents that lightness
I also like how they still slanted the logo just like they did on their earlier releases, just a little thing I noticed. Record Release show is tomorrow I think... in New York and then following that they go on their traditional Europe tour to support the record with Glue. Check it out
