Nevich — Mountains, Rivers & Adventures | Journey through the Western Tien Shan
An exciting journey through the Western Tien Shan, to the Chatkal Range near the border of the Chatkal Nature Reserve. Our route begins in the mountain village of Nevich, following a trail that climbs up from an old abandoned hangar to the ridge.
⛰️ From the ridge, breathtaking views open up:
the valley of the Kumsaryksay River,
the majestic Kyzylnura Peak (3,267 m),
the valley of the Altynbel River,
the Syurenata Ridge and the summit of Takali Mountain.
🚶♂️ After the ascent, we descend along a picturesque slope to the Bashkizilsay River, where the second part of our hike begins — relaxation by the water. Swimming, sunny days, and the warm atmosphere of late summer will make this journey unforgettable!
