By request, Today I will show you how to install Compiz 0.8.8 on Manjaro Linux from the Arch User Repository. This tutorial may also work on Arch derivatives.

Binary Packages/Repo IS NOW AVAILABLE!
To use the binary packages add this repo to the end of your /etc/pacman.conf

Run "sudo pacman -Syy" after editing pacman.conf
Then the packages will be available through pacman -S and any frontends.
The packages currently available are:
compiz09-manjaro - Latest 0.9.x series release.
compiz098-manjaro - Latest 0.9.8.x LTS series release.
compiz08-manjaro - Latest 0.8.x series release. (package group*)
compiz-manjaro-xfce - Depends on the current recommended version (0.8.x) and sets it to autostart with Xfce.
Recommended installation:
sudo pacman -S compiz08-manjaro
