Did you know that there are over 100 muscles, tendons, and ligaments inside your feet that almost nobody exercises? Years of wearing stiff, narrow-toed shoes compress and weaken these critical muscles, causing the arch to collapse, destabilizing ankles, and placing excessive strain on your knees, hips, and lower back.

In this video, Physical Therapist Dr. Leonardo Rebouças teaches a breakthrough 3-minute seated technique you can perform in any chair to awaken your intrinsic foot muscles ("The Foot Core"), dramatically improve walking stability, prevent devastating falls, reduce joint pain, and alleviate neuropathy symptoms such as numbness and burning sensations.

📋 3-EXERCISE SEATED CHAIR PROTOCOL:
• Exercise 1 (Mobility & Abduction): Lift your toes high off the floor, spread them wide like a fan, and raise the front of your foot. Repeat for 1 full minute.
• Exercise 2 (Cognitive Coordination): Raise one foot onto your toes while the other lifts onto the heel, alternating rhythmically for 1 minute (stimulates neural pathways against dementia).
• Exercise 3 (Plantar Isometric Hold): Keep your toes spread wide on the floor and elevate your heels as high as possible, sustaining your body weight only on your toe pads for 1 minute.
