Over the weekend, I started listening to Khelani's new album "It Was Good Until It Wasn't" and I really enjoyed it. I always find music like this super interesting, where the melodies tell one story and the drums tell another. It happens more and more as music genres continue to blend but in this specific scenario, we had R&B inspired melodies complemented with modern trap drums.
Feeling inspired I made a beat aiming for this vibe from my perspective so in this video I show you how I made that beat from scratch in Studio One 4.
