Principal Doolittle's Remote Learning Orientation Message
THURSDAY AND FRIDAY REMOTE LEARNING STUDENT ORIENTATION SCHEDULE
Students are asked to join in live sessions with their teachers beginning this Thursday, 03.19.20. Each teacher will have a link to join their Zoom video conference orientation session on their class “Bulletin Board” in myWCS. Students can use a computer, phone, or tablet to join these meetings. Students should follow the times below to join these Zoom sessions as they correspond to the order of their course periods. These session will be brief, so be sure to sign in on time.
Thursday 03.19.20
• 1st period – 9AM
• 2nd period – 10AM
• 3rd period – 11AM
• 4th period – 1PM
Friday 03.20.20
• 5th period – 9AM
• 6th period – 10AM
• 7th period – 11AM
• Q&A with teachers as needed – 1PM
WHAT YOUR STUDENT WILL NEED
• Students will need a device. A computer with a webcam is ideal, but a tablet or even a phone will be mostly sufficient.
• Students will need to create a free Zoom account at https://zoom.us/. Zoom has apps for computers, tablets, and phones. Zoom is the platform we will be using for teacher hosted “live sessions”. A “live session” is where teachers will video conference their classes as they would occur during the regular school day or for an alternatively scheduled individual or small group meeting.
