Nixdorf 8870? DAP4/BA11 Offline Start/Init/Settings
After replacing all Roederstein-Elkos, one 1N4003 Diode (the one to the Elkos side) and one Wima FKS1/6800 capacitor the Power Supply works again.
Did not start or was unable to switch on because Reed-Contact in Keyboard was defective.
Now its serviceable again - however, it is a unit with „Inhouse“-Personality card, used to hookup the unit via plain old 2- or 4-wire (POTS-wiring) to main unit, afaik.
Unfortunately i dont have any history to this unit - but would love to work more on these Nixdorf 8870 machines - either 8870/x or Mxx/Quattros…

For the pro's: LFI-no from the VDU-board is 1526 05. Do you know if this unit was/is dedicated to non-8870-systems like 8818? Please let me know :-)
...however, the layout of the keyboard does not look like a unit from a telephone-system like 8818. it looks more financial-biased.
