Windows 7 x64 Windows Update Stuck / Stalled, or using 50% CPU and 2GB RAM
This video explains how to fix two issues in Windows 7 x64.
1.Windows Update getting stuck searching for updates.
2.Windows Update using 50% CPU and 2GB of memory
Follow Steps below:-
1.Run cmd as administrator, must be logged in as an administrator.
2. Type net stop wuauserv (This stops the Windows Update Service)
3. Download KB3020369 and double left click, if it asks to restart after install click No, if already installed continue to next step.

4.Type net stop wuauserv (This stops the Windows Update Service, if an update is manually installed and it fails or installs the Update service is started again)
5. Download KB3172605 and double left click, when it asks to restart click No.

6.Close all open programs and restart the computer.
7.Once restarted open Windows Update in Control Panel and be prepared for a lot of updates.
