The world of Architectural Visualization is fast changing and the demand for photorealistic rendering has become the standard for many in the industry.
VRAY(Corona Inclusive) and D5 RENDER, in my opinion are about the 2 top contenders for photorealism and broad appeal in the Arch viz industry.
