Understanding Microsoft 365 sync client
There is a lot of confusion with the OneDrive sync client.
First, it's not synchronizing only OneDrive, it also synchronizes SharePoint and Teams folders.
Second, if you enable file on demand, it won't synchronize your folders and files until you say so.
So, don't be afraid that your hard drive will be full if you allow users to synchronize.
