I've heard from several viewers asking if Xbox Live Gold can be shared on the Xbox 360 console. The quick answer is no. You can't share Xbox Live Gold on the 360 and I can explain why.
As you know Gold is required to play online for lots of games on the 360 and Xbox One. But the ability to set a 360 console as the Home console wasn't built into the interface. On the other hand Xbox One owners can enjoy Gold sharing and other subscription services because of the ability to set the Home console. On the Xbox One in the Personalization menu is where I can set my 2nd Xbox as the Home Xbox for sharing.
Unfortunately if you have two 360 consoles your subscription services can only be used on a single Xbox 360 and sharing isn't possible. Each player will need their own Gold subscription. But when you do upgrade to the Xbox One, your Gold account will transfer over and it can be used on Xbox One seamlessly. Then the next dilemma you'll have is getting a 2nd Xbox One console to share Gold!
