The UK left the EU and EEA on 31 January 2020. If you were legally residing in Norway before the transition period ended on 31 December 2020, your right to continue to reside in Norway is protected under the EEA EFTA Separation Agreement. But, to secure this right, you must take action to apply for a permit or order a residence card before 31 December 2021.
If you are a UK national and are registered in the database of foreign nationals (UDB) as residing in Norway with UK nationality status you should have recieved a letter with information of what actions needs to be completed.
