During his master class held at the Molodist International Film Festival, the Russian actor explained the conditions under which he would be willing to work with a budding director and what is more important for a debutant than a budget.
"I support anyone in St. Petersburg who wants to make films," asserts the renowned Russian actor and director. In the second part of Alexander Bashirov's master class, he discusses the conditions under which this support is also possible outside of St. Petersburg, as well as his unpleasant encounter with the authorities while filming his role in "The Needle," and the 20 years he spent filming Oleg Flyangolts's "Indifference," which left Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin reeling.
