In this video I'm going to show you how to install a few video editing programs on Ubuntu 18.04 and see if they're up to the task of editing the type of footage that we film for Gear Seekers. Spoiler alert we will be covering Davinci Resolve 15 again and I'll be showing you how to install the final release version on Ubuntu.

Kdenlive: sudo apt install kdenlive
Openshot: sudo apt install openshot
Shotcut: snap install shotcut --classic

Prerequisites depending on Your GPU
NVIDIA: sudo apt-get install nvidia-cuda-toolkit
AMD: sudo apt install ocl-icd-opencl-dev

Use These Commands:
sudo apt-get install fakeroot (if you're getting the fakeroot error)
chmod +x makeresolvedeb_15.0-2.sh
sudo ./makeresolvedeb_15.0-2.sh lite
sudo dpkg --install davinci-resolve_15.0-2_amd64.deb
