Klar Lyd - Audio Restoration - remove continous noise floor
Ex 1: piano solo concert with a noisy air conditioner close to the stage. Dry signal. No EQ, compression or reverb was added.
Ex 2: guitar line signal from a studio session 20 years ago, with a strong electrical interference and humming. Dry guitar line signal. No EQ, compression or reverb was added to mix. the reverb is recorded directly from guitar pedal.
This channel was created to show some examples of sound retorations.
There are many different technologies to do that.
In this case, it was done with RX 4 from Izotope. There are also other technologies like Audio Sculpt, Sound Forge, Waves X-noise, Cedar etc.
The main thing when you work with this is to have patience to work manually, avoiding all the automatic procedures from the software, otherwise, you will loose many details.
