In this video I go though and explain how damage, Armour, Health and durability work together in PLayerunknown Battlegrounds. I go abit into depth of how Boosts (Pain killers, Energy Drinks work) how much health you get from Boosters. Hopefully this helps everyone out there and clears up some issues people have with the game. Leave a comment below for other ideas to cover for Playerunknown Battlegrounds

Hello Everyone Im Dipstick and in this video we are gonna learn about PUBG Damage and Armour. With the recent success of PUBG im looking to explain and make clear on how certain aspects of the game work and operation. One of the larger and more important aspects is Damage and Armour and how they interact with each other in the game. There are some misconceptions I have seen while watching, the largest one is how durability works on armor. Another misconception is Does the lvl 1 and 2 helms provide protection for your face?
There are 3 levels of Armour, they are the Motorcycle Helmet and Police vest as Lvl1 , the Military Helmet and Police vest as lvl 2. The Spetsnaz Helmet and Military vest as lvl 3. All the lvls of armour reduce the same amount of damage for the area they cover. 30% for lvl 1 40% for lvl2 and 55% for lvl 3. Armored vests also carry the added bonus of adding 50 carrying capacity which stacks with a backpack. Now lets take a look at Durability and what it really mean.
Durability in PUBG represents how much health that piece of armor has till it breaks and becomes useless. The durability does NOT affect how much damage the armor reduces. A piece of armor with 1% durability left will still reduce the % of dmg it is suppose to. So in most cases its never worth to downgrade from a lvl 3 helmet to a lvl 2 helmet, as the lvl 3 helmet will still protect you from a Kar98 headshot.
Another misconception about the armours is what they cover and reduce damage on. All Helmets have the same coverage and protect the full face and back of the head. Chest armor does the same for chest, but doesnt reduce the damage done to arms and legs.
Bodyshots take 100% of the damage from the round that hits them, Head shots have a 2.5X multipler and Arms/Legs take .5X The AWM is the only gun that is able to kill a player with one bullet through a lvl 3 helmet, But both the s1897 and s686 can do this as well if 4 or more pellets hit the head, and the s12k requires 5 pellets. There are 2 guns strong enough to one shot a player through a Military Vest, those are the S1897 and S686. For Both shotguns to this it requires ALL 9 pellets to hit the body. Now if any pellets hit the head this will lower the amount needed to hit the body.
There are 2 different heals in PUBG. The instant heal that comes from the First Aid Kit and Med kit, and heal over times with the bandage and boosters. Only Med Kits and Boosters can heal a person over 75.
The Booster system has 4 lvls of affects. The first bar gives 1% hp tick and lasts for 1 min giving you 7% hp. The second bar gives 2% hp per second and lasts 2 mins giving you 30% total hp. The 3rd Bar gives you 3% hp per second Lasting 1.5 mins, giving you 33% hp. This bar also increases your run speed by 2.5%
The 4th bar gives you 4%per second for 30seconds giving you 16% hp, this bar increases your run speed by 6.2%
There are 3 items that get boost from in the game. They are the Energy Drink, Painkillers and the Rare air drop item, adrenaline shots. They all provide different amounts of boost, Energy drink gives 40 ,Painkillers 60 and Shot gives 100.
