Requested by Xrogi224X (IngusRogeth). Custom Sprite Maker created in C++ by Greiga Master of TREZ. This teaches you how to prepare a sprite sheet for importing into MegaMan Battle Network 6, how to compile it into a .DMP file, and how to apply it temporarily. If you want to do it permanently, I assume you know how to by now. This is some advanced stuff. ;)
Suggested:
Adobe Photoshop
Sprite List Viewer
Required:
Paint
Custom Sprite Maker
To download the Custom Sprite Maker, go to http://therockmanexezone.com/ and register at the forums. The guides are officially public as of mid-August 2011. ;) Then you can find it here:

Disclaimer:
This guide works for all custom sprite sheets, battle AND overworld, for BN6. I do not take responsibility for your mistakes using Custom Sprite Maker or if you mess up your game permanently because you didn't back up your files. Everything you need to know is here and all you need are the supplies which you should have. Questions have been welcome if you were to be confused. If you could not follow this guide, either try again later or ask now. If you are not an experienced-enough MegaMan Battle Network hacker and think this is not for you, then don't ask for help yet; go learn something else and come back later.
FAQ:
Q: Hey how do I get Custom Sprite Maker?
A: It's at the forum of the website mentioned above, in the Custom Programs section.
Q: Halp i cant use Custom Sprite Maker!
A: At least describe the issue. You could have been implying the C++ Runtime Library or something else. Be more specific.
Q: How do I import sprite sheets permanently?
A: Google for "HxD" and look up tutorials on it. All you need to know is Copy+Paste and knowledge of offsets. If you don't know the relevant offsets, I use them in this video.
Q: I dont have Photoshop!
A: You don't need it. You just are suggested to have an image editor that can animate, and Photoshop can. GIMP can too, go Google that. If you really don't want to, Paint is always an option, but you'll probably have to deal with neon green for a transparency color.
Q: How 2 use photoshop?!
A: Find some tutorials. If you watch this tutorial, then you should already know how to use Photoshop and/or GIMP.
Q: Dis video is 2 fast slo it down.
A: There's a reason a pause button appears when you press the Play/Pause button on the YouTube flash player. Press J to rewind 10 seconds, K to pause, L to fast forward 10 seconds. I recommend such rewinding to read things you missed.
Q: Wat r da songz?
A: The BGMs are listed at the end of the video (0:20:26 - 0:20:57). Some are on a forum, so if it says Grand Robot Master Remix Battle, you're outta luck unless you sign up. :)
Q: how can we make sure the battle sprites if are positioned correctly?
A: I've uploaded a template for you to use. It's below this FAQ.
Q: My sprite isn't transparent on the game!
A: You can either match the background color of your sprite's frame with the default transparent color chosen by the Custom Sprite Maker (00FF00, which is pure green) and choose that option before saving your sprite dump, or you just have a transparent background and you click Top Left so that the first color becomes black and is automatically transparent. Both Photoshop and GIMP support transparency.
Q: Yo are you gonna do an Ow sprite tutorial?
A: No. It is the same process with different frames. See the next question.
Q: Yo wat is da sprite order?
A: The download link in this description includes a notepad for the battle and overworld sheet frame order. Use that as a reference; I do!
