How to enable rewrite module in WAMP Server
Under the permalinks settings, you can enable post name as the URL, If you have installed WordPress locally with the WAMP server, you need to enable rewrite_module otherwise pretty permalink won't work and you will see Page Not Found error.
- Left click on the WAMP icon
- Go to Apache - Apache Modules
- Find and enable rewrite_module
Restart WAMP server and reload WordPress again, now everything should work properly.
