Lost Alpha is a global modification of S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl (independent of the original game), developed from 2007–2008 by the international English-speaking development team "Dez0wave Team." The main goal of the modification is to recreate "that very Stalker," or more precisely, the game's appearance from 2003–2004. It is the longest-developed project in the Stalker universe (excluding Stalker itself).
