I was so frustrated trying to keep my screen active during massive wetransfer or ftp file transfers and overnight renders. My PC kept going to sleep, messing up everything, and I lost hours of work. That's why I made this 8-hour solid green screen video. I needed something super simple that would keep my display active without eating up resources (or animations distracting me). The pure green color is nice because it's easy on the eyes during those late-night sessions when I'm monitoring my 3D renders or waiting for those huge video files to upload. Also, i love greenscreen videos as you've seen on the channel 🙂Solid green worked best for my setup - plus it doubles as a chroma key background when I need it for my streaming experiments. The 8-hour duration is clutch because it also covers my work sessions, and I don't have to worry about looping issues or interruptions. This has seriously saved me many times, especially during critical overnight uploads when every minute counts; this video also doesnt consume much bandwidth. No more waking up to a locked screen and failed transfers. I keep this running on my second monitor, and it's become part of my workflow.
