One of the most useful and Powerful tools that we can use to create patterns for MySQL queries is using RegEx or Regular Expressions. RegEx provides patterns of letters and characters that are used in MySQL as well as too many other programming languages. In this video we will be working on an example where we use regex to create a pattern for our MySQL select query.
Regex as a vast subject and we cannot talk about it and extend for this particular course but it's recommended to have a search about this subject and find out about RegEx and how we can use it in MySQL.
