Tesla fanboys are still mad about this race.
Because when their car lined up against a Hayabusa at Las Vegas Motor Speedway — they genuinely believed instant electric torque was going to settle this argument.
Race one — the white Busa didn't give the Tesla time to make that case.
So they ran it back.
This time the Hayabusa fumbled the launch completely.
The Tesla had the kind of headstart that should have ended the debate permanently.
But here's what the EV crowd forgot.
A Hayabusa with a bad start is still faster than most things with a perfect one.
The black Busa caught it anyway.
And that's why they're still mad.
