Surprise! Was playing this off and on the past couple months to continue my wave skill improvement and to start my trek to beat some more 2nd hardests. This level has been my least favorite level for a little while now and I know you might ask "Why tf would you beat it then?" Well, I wanna challenge myself from time to time and prove to myself that I can do more than just timing/ship levels that I'm comfortable with.
With that being said, this level still sucks so much to play as I thought it would. 44-90 is actually pretty fun but the thing is you hardly ever get to play it because you have to pass the first wave, so playing from 0 tanked the little enjoyment I had from the start. The last wave I got decently consistent at which was nice, but the first wave was a completely different story. I would compare that wave to Acheron parts in terms of difficulty; it's that insane. Thank god I never have to do the staircase ever again.
