Why Does Xcode Download So Slowly? Problems With Apple's Developer Software On The Mac App Store.
Xcode is the software that developers use to create apps for macOS (Mac), iOS (iPhone / iPod Touch), iPadOS (iPad), watchOS (Apple Watch), and tvOS (Apple TV).
As a developer, there was a software experiment that I wanted to try, but that involved downloading Xcode. I didn't have it on my computer because it's huge! It's by far the largest Mac App that I use. I haven't had much luck with keeping it updated either, as the download would fail at the end. It just wouldn't install.
That's what this video is about. While the "Hero" series of videos focuses on tech support. Sometimes there just isn't a good solution. If you're having trouble downloading Xcode, through the Mac App Store, apparently that's a common problem.

More information about removing Xcode is here… https://stackoverflow.com/questions/3... …but that's why I like to use Time Machine to backup my computer. It's nice to have a recovery option when something was accidentally deleted.
