At Shriver’s Salt Water Taffy & Fudge, the oldest business on the boardwalk in Ocean City, New Jersey, owner Meryl Vangelov reveals the unique history behind salt water taffy, which was invented in Atlantic City. In Atlantic City, father-son duo Said and Tarek Gad whip up decadent funnel cake sundaes. And in Asbury Park, Al meets the mother-daughter team behind Betty’s Icebox, a vegan frozen treats shop known for their snowy shave ice and whimsical ice pops.
