--------------celestial---------------- explanation for ProjectSURGE
heavenly
something that is in the sky (celestial bodies)
highest rate at judgement day

This video represents the word celestial through a story based on the belief in judgement day. The characters shown try to "become celestial" wich here means, becoming part of heaven and the gods.during the video they remember what they leave behind (family, friends, love etc) and aim for what awaits them.(more to that in the story part somewhere down below in the description)
You will (or should) notice the change of daytimes symbolising the characters' running time and structuring the video and the story into (hopfully) sence making parts
I also tried to show the celestial bodies or the sky as often as possible. They kinda represent the gods or something.

so, here it is and, first things first, Vegas f*** failed to render two clips...my fault, I forgot to push a special button without some of them wont work...the picture in the end (the black part) and somewhere some of the sparkle things are missing. The first one was actually pretty important but I'm not (I repeat NOT) going to wait another 3 hours. It was the scene from the Dissidia012 ending. hope you know wich one I mean, I don't wanna get into detail now cuz of spoilers and stuff.

when I first heard the word celestial, I had no clue what it meant and it was translated to as something that can mean two different things (sky and heaven - its the same in german) so I was pleased when I found out that celestial means both, too.
another little note to the story, I had the rough setup and the plan it was based on judgement day BEFORE I knew that the word actually got something to do with that.Good thing I found out then, cuz I was worried about failing subject here...

so, the story:

Like I said up there, the characters try to become celestial.means: they want to become heavenly AND part of the sky (yep, I decided to combine those, made symbolism easyer xP)They do it voluntarily, hoping the gods will be pleased by their sacrifices and protect the humans in exchange for that.
The characters don't know eachother and meet the first time at night in the forgotten city, wich is only some sacred forest here (the intro gives a foreshadowing to that part)
the video itself shows how they feel at their last day, what they remember and how they imagine the celestial part of their life that is to come after this.
in the end they all meet in the forest to pray together and recieve the gods blessing and so on.

each character got his own story but the most important are Yuna and Genesis: Yuna was raised with knowing one day she would do this. She lived her life with praying all day and stuff. I guess she isnt allowed to love someone.however, she does.
Genesis was "evil" once.He fought in a war on the side of unbelieving people and he killed many.Noone knows what made him change his mind, but now he wants to be a marthyr and atone for his sins.In the end (!! wich is another word fo spoiler warning, watch the vid first !!) he is not accepted by the gods and he gets punished by them.

the daytimes, too, got their meaning in structuring the story. However you can also see them symbolising the life as one day.
The gods are kinda snobby as they dont care 'bout (for example) Gensis having changed seriously and Yuna who actually doesn't want to go.

for the record, Vegas started bitching around when the file had like 13 Mb.I guess you can imagine it did not get better until up to 17,5Mb where it is right now...wow, I fail

oh and, youtube you are the official master of shitty tumbnails, just saying
