Table Top Exercise
This is a variation of the bird dog. Our objective is to activate contralateral slings with joint centration while decreasing the base of support. Start position is tabletop with hands directly under shoulders, knees slightly wider than hip width, knees wider than toes and neutral spine. For the movement find and maintain breath and intra-abdominal pressure.
Think about lifting your right arm. Initiate lifting your right arm, execute lifting your right arm forward, return to the start. Think about lifting right arm and left leg initiate lifting right arm and left leg off the ground.
Execute sending right arm and left leg out. Destination is extension of arm and opposite leg while maintaining flat tabletop position and resisting side shift with your core.
