What does transpose function do?
Ans : It flips columns in rows and rows into column.
We can transpose a range using a Paste Special method and Using Transpose Function. (ALT+H+V+T is shortcut key for paste special method.)
Copy a Range then select a cell where one want to transpose then Right Mouse click then click on transpose option
(If this option not present then it must be in paste special option.)
While using Transpose formula user must
-- Press CTRL+SHIFT+ENTER instead of only ENTER key to apply the formula.
-- Flipping of range matrix occurs in transpose hence out put range selection matrix should be opposite of input range matrix. Eg. If input range is A1:A5 (5 rows & 1 column) then output selection range should be
of 5 columns & 1 row.
Sometimes on have to create linked cell which can be deleted by mistake here is one trick to partially protect a cell without protecting worksheet.
