Is your YouTube stuck in Restricted Mode with the message "Turned on by Network Administrator"? In this video, I show you how to disable this setting so you can watch any video you want.
This error often happens because of your Wi-Fi settings, a VPN, or third-party extensions—even if you are the admin! I will walk you through 3 methods to fix it on your phone and computer.
In this video, I cover:
The Cause: Why schools, workplaces, and public Wi-Fi lock this setting.
Fix 1 (DNS Settings): How to change your DNS to Google (8.8.8.8) to bypass network filters.
Fix 2 (Mobile Data): Using your phone's data to bypass Wi-Fi restrictions instantly.
Fix 3 (Browser/Extensions): Disabling VPNs or extensions that force Safe Mode.
Steps to Fix (DNS Method):
Go to Settings Wi-Fi.
Tap the "i" icon next to your connected network.
Scroll down to Configure DNS Manual.
Delete old servers and add 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4.
Save and restart the YouTube app.
