Fix USB Won't Connect (Quest 3 USB Detected Popup) Additional Steps in Description
This is a very quick video that might help you get your USB connected on the Quest 3 headset, when the USB Detected popup is not showing up in the headset.
Maybe this is actually documented somewhere else, but it absolutely drove me crazy for a couple hours. I spent a lot of time trying to fix my computer, when it was a headset setting.
Things to check in the Meta app on phone
Select Device (Q2 or Q3), Manage your device, Headset settings, Developer Settings, Debug Mode Enabled
Other things to check on the headset.
Settings, System, Developer, Enable Custom Settings- On, MTP Notification- On, USB Auto-Link- Off
