Elegia di Oblivion" is a solemn, fingerpicking rock piece written in memory of my cat.
Inspired by the darker, acoustic fingerstyle motifs of Tony Iommi and Black Sabbath, this song channels the pain and heartbreak of a tragic loss. After being cruelly thrown from a rooftop, the brave little guy summoned all his strength to drag himself home—just to say goodbye one last time at my feet.
This piece stands as an elegy for his strength, his spirit, and the bond we shared. Rest in peace, little friend.
