Update CFW Directly on a Jailbroken PS3 with Evilnat CFW!
Evilnat comes through with a new feature allowing consoles running Evilnat CFW to update to a new CFW directly on the console! Just connect your console to the Internet, perform an online update, and update your CFW while retaining your jailbreak. No more hunting around for a USB drive or accidentally updating to OFW! This also allows you to choose which variant you would like to update to such as standard, noBD, noBT, noBD+noBT, CEX, or PEX!
This requires you to have a jailbroken PS3 running CFW. This video will assume you already own a modified console and have at least a basic understanding of how to navigate it.
