This week we continue opening up the inside of our 500 year old cottage.
As the old kitchen comes out, more of the building’s true structure is revealed, including the oldest wall in the house, now visible as one continuous space for the first time. Along the way there’s demolition, small wins, a handmade gate for Muddy, and a moment that puts the whole project into perspective as we share our 20 week baby scan.
This series follows our slow, hands on renovation of a 500 year old cottage in the Cotswolds, learning as we go and doing our best to look after a very old house.
