This video demonstrates how to use Excel to find the estimated sample mean, variance, and sample standard deviation of a frequency distribution. The frequency distribution can be presented as a table or a histogram. I give the data in a table, but you would use the same process if you were given a histogram, you would just get the information from the histogram.
