What to Look For in a MIDI Controller: Basics and Fundamentals
Choosing the right kind of MIDI controller for a particular device requires a bit of knowledge regarding the technical specifications involved. In this video, we talk about what I believe to be the most important, fundamental things to be aware of. We cover the types of MIDI messages that can be transmitted (and making sure that a device/controller combination will support the exact messages we need to be using), and well as different ways of making physical connections with the hardware.
