DON'T MESS WITH BILLY THE KID!
On August 17th, 1877, Billy The Kid killed a man for the first time. He and a local blacksmith by the name of Frank Cahill got into an argument and struggle over Billy's gun ensued. Cahill was shot and died the next day. Billy was arrested but escaped, just as he would multiple times in his short life.
This would be the first of many people he killed throughout his notorious run as a Wild West outlaw.
