Evangelism, Image Rights, and the Application of LGPD in Pastoral Care
This conference is part of the project "1st Faith and Reason: Dialogues for Our Time," promoted by the Padre Antônio Régis Brasil Academic Board of the Philosophy and Theology Courses at the Catholic University of Pelotas (UCPel).
In this conference, Fr. Vilcemar Diniz Junior, a priest of the Archdiocese of Pelotas, presents the theme "Evangelizing, Image Rights, and the Application of the LGPD in Pastoral Work," reflecting on the legal and pastoral challenges involved in the evangelizing mission of the Church in times of digital communication.
The lecture addresses aspects related to image rights, the General Data Protection Law (LGPD), and best practices for the processing of personal data in pastoral activities, offering guidance so that evangelization takes place responsibly, ethically, and in accordance with current legislation.
