This video is part of my human language modeling class - this video set covers the updated version with both R and Python. This section covers similarity - cosine, point wise mutual information, and more! Mainly, we use this information to calculate the relationship between words but it has lots of applications. Important: the lecture notes you can download online show the right PMI formula, but this video does not (I misread the book footnote as a ^2). Note: these videos are part of live online lectures, so random interruptions are normal!
