This is redfeather from grephaxs in this video we will be showing you how to Screen
Capture in Kdenlive using Ubuntu 16.04
usually I would use Vokoscreen as you can see and I am for the first part of this video
in order to show how to begin recording in Kdenlive
as you will notice you can not run both capturing programs at the same time but
in order to start Screen Capturing in Kdenlive
just click the plus at the right of the video window in Kdenlive then move to the left
and click the record button
once you have finished recording in Kdenlive click the record button again which stops
the recording and places the video in the project bin window as well as saving to your Kdenlive folder
what ever you wish to record using Kdenlive just have it brought up then minimize Kdenlive
after clicking the record button and your on your way
vokoscreen is still a good program to use but with this added feature you can do it right from the
hip with Kdenlive right out of the box and as you might have noticed there is an audio feature
